For the tourism industry
Visit Överkalix is run by Överkalix municipality and produced within the “Överkalix, platsen är utmärkt för turism” project, which was funded by Överkalix municipality with subsidization through the County Administrative Board of Norrbotten’s regional project fund. Together with the tourism industry, Överkalix municipality want to make sure the development of the destination is durable and sustainable, as well as internationally competitive, and thereby create an even more attractive destination for visitors as well as the local community.
